Drug bust leads to five arrests in Kingsburg

KINGSBURG — Five people were arrested last week when police served a search warrant alleging illegal drug activity was taking place at a residence in Kingsburg.

On June 10, Kingsburg police officers and members of the Fresno County sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force searched a residence in the 1600 block of Quincy Street. As a result of the search, three men and two women from Kingsburg and Selma were arrested, according to police.

Ruben Erebia, 45, of Kingsburg, was arrested for possession of four pounds of marijuana, illegal possession of prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a parole violation. Denice Augustine, 35, of Selma was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. George Galvan, 46, of Selma was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a parole violation. The suspects were booked at the Fresno County Jail.

Also arrested were Tone Erebia, 48, of Kingsburg for possession of drug paraphernalia, and Adrianna Canchola, 20, of Kingsburg for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Both individuals were later released on citations.

During the search, officers also discovered that several teenagers were spending the night at the residence. They were all released to their parents.
