The Elk Grove Police Department is asking the community’s help in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery, according to a press release issued by the Elk Grove Police Department on Tuesday, April 10.

Reportedly on April 6, 2012, at 6:05pm, an unidentified suspect armed with a chrome or stainless steal revolver entered the UPS Store at 4801 Laguna Boulevard and confronted a UPS driver. The suspect walked the driver behind the employee counter area and ordered another employee inside the store to open the cash register, and the employee complied and opened the cash register as directed. The suspect then reportedly removed an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from inside the register. The release says a second suspect entered the UPS store and stood near the employee counter area. Then both suspects exited the business and were last seen running towards Tegan Road.

According to the press release, the first suspect is described as an African American adult male, age 20, six feet two inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with a black baseball hat that had a bright green bill, gray or blue jeans, with black tennis shoes with a white strip on the bottom of the shoes. He reportedly had a tattoo in cursive writing under his right eye and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect was reportedly described as an African American male, age 20, five feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.

I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog audience have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari. Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?
