The suspects were later identified as Raymond Albert RODRIGUEZ, 12/11/93, and Jaden James SMITH, 1/17/01.

The suspects fled the scene in a white 4-door BMW sedan with a paper temporary plate, heading southbound on SR29. The driver of the suspect vehicle immediately fled on the shoulder of the road and ACPD units pursued the suspect vehicle through the city, maintaining visual contact while prioritizing public safety.

The pursuit was ultimately terminated near the intersection of Hwy 37 as Officers lost visual contact with the suspect vehicle. A short time later the vehicle was located in the parking lot of Six Flags off Fairgrounds Drive.

With the aid of video surveillance and collaboration with Vallejo PD, both suspects were identified and detained within the premises of Six Flags. RODRIGUEZ and SMITH were booked at the Napa County Detention Center for charges related to the theft and pursuit.
