RIVERSIDE – Following the release of a threatening manifesto online, Christopher Jordan Dorner, a disgruntled ex-LAPD officer has purportedly gone on a rampage, killing two civilians and a Riverside Police officer, instigating a multi-agency manhunt.
In the early hours of February 7, two LAPD Officers from the Newton Station were fired on by an unknown assailant in Corona. The officers were part of a security detail protecting a named target of Christopher Dorner. Neither officer was severely harmed, but the perpetrator was suspected to be Dorner.
Following this shooting a second shooting occurred in Riverside. The officers fired upon were not involved in the manhunt for Dorner. They were on routine patrol in their black-and-white squad car when they were ambushed at about 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Magnolia and Arlington avenues, south of downtown Riverside, according Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz. One of the officers will killed, the other wounded. The wounded officer has been hospitalized and his condition is unknown at this time.
In his rambling online manifesto Dorner wrote “The Violence of action will be HIGH. I am the reason TAC alert was established. I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty. ISR is my strength and your weakness. You will now live the life of the prey. Your RD’s and homes away from work will be my AO and battle space. I will utilize every tool within INT collections that I learned from NMITC in Dam Neck. You have misjudged a sleeping giant.”
It is believed that Dorner initiated his retaliation against the LAPD and his targets with the murder of Cal State Fullerton assistant basketball coach Monica Quan and her fiance, Keith Lawrence in Irvine. Monica Quan’s father is Randy Quan, a retired LAPD captain who was involved in a personnel review that led to Dorner’s dismissal from the force.
A “blue alert” has been activated in nine Southern California counties informing officers to consider Dorner armed and dangerous. Dorner is 33-year-old black male, 6-feet tall, 270 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a 2005 blue or gray Nissan Titan with ski racks on the roof and the license plate 8D83987 or 7X09131. He may be switching between the two license plates.

Read his manifesto, he is targeting specific people and police in general, regular folks don’t need to worry about getting shot by anyone but the cops. The police have already shot up the wrong vehicle, TWICE now, in an effort to silence this guy. I guess that is what happens when a cop crosses the blue wall of silence and blows the whistle on corruption. Tragic. http://scoot.net/gallery/bbs/dornergif.gif
He was fired for what? When others that did worse are protected and LAPD wants Manifesto read on the radio. Hmmm, there is alot here we will never know after he is dead.
