April 9 – Santa Barbara County

The March 28th warrant search of a residence in the otherwise quiet, unincorporated community of Vandenberg Village, home to many military families attached to Vandenberg Air Force Base and the 30th Space Wing, Air Force Space Command, proved that there is more going on in the area than mere rocket science.

Christopher Green

Acting on evidence pursuant to an ongoing Narcotics Division investigation, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Detectives identified and made contact with Christopher Green, 29, and Katie Hamilton, 23, both suspected of criminal activity involving firearm and controlled substances.  According to Drew Sugars, SBSD Public Information Officer, “detectives located a significant number of live marijuana plants on the property,” which ultimately were inventoried at 88 plants under active cultivation. “A number of additional plants were found drying inside the residence,” Sugars reported.

Two children were found to be living in the home and were removed by Santa Barbara County Child Welfare Services who ultimately placed them in the care of other family members.

Along with the marijuana found on the premises, detectives also discovered handguns in a bedroom easily accessible to the children

Green was arrested at the scene and booked into Lompoc City Jail on charges of felony child endangerment, cultivation and sales of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of ammunition by a felon.  He was thereafter transferred to Santa Barbara County Jail where he remains on $110,000 bail.  Hamilton was not arrested at the time, but, according to Sugars, is likely to be charged by the Santa Barbara County District Attorney on charges of felony child endangerment.

I have no idea which company is a scam and which isn’t, but it’s absurd and naive to proclaim that companies that charge upfront fees are fraudulent. I can only surmise you have never done any modifications then.
