Between 5:30-6 pm Monday, officers arrested one teen and cited four others in two separate incidents when the teens were caught spray-painting graffiti.

At about 5:30, officers were called to a bridge near the intersection of Thornton and Davis roads. The officers found three boys, ages 15, 16, and 17 spray-painting graffiti.

The teens were cited by the officers and released to their parents.

Later, just before 6 pm, officers were called to investigate two teens painting graffiti around the intersection of

El Dorado Street and Bianchi Road in Stockton.

The report stated that the teens were spotted by a passer-by and then by the officers.

The teens ran from the officers but were caught a short distance away. About a dozen different locations were found that had been tagged by the pair.

A 16-year-old was cited and released to a parent. A 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of the vandalism and conspiracy violations and placed into San Joaquin County Juvenile Hall.
