Break-In at God’s House Leaves Two in Custody
Two Visalia men were arrested on burglary charges December 29, after police found them inside a local church after hours.
They may now be praying for a way out of their legal troubles.
The Visalia Police got a call of a burglary in progress at Faith Community Church in Visalia on Monday afternoon. Two men were spotted going into the building and were still there at the time the police officers arrived, according to the Visalia Police Department. The police could hear the two men inside the church building.
The two men, apparently, could tell that the police were outside as well, and left the church. Before they could escape, officers took Brandon Estrada, 23, of 618 N. Orange in Exeter and Roy Hughes White, 50 of 546 E. Tulare in Visalia into custody and, after a K9 officer made sure they didn’t have any hidden companions, charged them with burglary.
White and Estrada were booked into the Tulare County Jail.
