Truckee woman arrested on suspicion of arson

   Errin T. Randall might have a difficult task of proving her innocence on charges of arson after firefighters battled three separate blazes in the Lake Tahoe area Monday and Tuesday. All three of the fires involved businesses and residences owned by the Truckee chiropractor.
   According to Truckee Police Lieutenant Randy J. Fenn, the first blaze was Monday morning at Loyalton in Sierra County. That fire damaged a combination residence and chiropractic office owned by Randall.
   That blaze was followed closely by a residential fire in the 10,000 block of Laburnham Circle in the Town of Truckee, again at a building owned by Randall.
   Then early Tuesday morning, another fire was reported at a chiropractic office in the 10,000 block of Donner Pass Rd. in Truckee.
   Fenn said that after a preliminary investigation, Randall was arrested on suspicion of arson and bail was set at $50,000. Randall managed to make bail so, with authorities keeping close tabs on the suspect, the Nevada County District Attorney’s Office managed to convince a judge to enhance that bail to $1-million, which Randall has yet to satisfy.
   Fenn would not comment of whether circumstantial evidence alone could convict Randall, but did add that “we’ve managed to produce some physical evidence we feel ties the suspect to the crimes.”
   Some of that evidence was uncovered during a subsequent warranted search by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, but authorities would not specify what was found.
   Fenn said that the 38-year old Randall will be arraigned on a charge of arson to an inhabited structure and other companion charges
