HUNTINGTON BEACH — Another celebrity relationship has reportedly fallen upon hard times after mixed martial arts fighter “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz allegedly demonstrated his fighting prowess on his significant other, adult entertainment star Jenna Jameson.
The incident resulted in Ortiz’s Monday morning arrest with bail set at $25,000.
Ortiz was released from the Huntington Beach jail shortly after 4 p.m. Monday. The fighter emerged from behind the police station suddenly, sprinting in his red shorts out a rear exit with what appeared to be a grin on his face. He quickly covered the short distance across the parking lot to a parked white Rolls Royce, hopped in and took off.
Paparazzi photographers that had been waiting at the front of the police station to get photos of the MMA star came running with bewildered looks on their faces only to find that Ortiz had made a quick exit.
Police received the original 911 domestic violence call around 9:50 a.m. Several officers and additional investigators responded to the Huntington Beach home of Jameson and Ortiz. TMZ reports that Jameson had “visible injuries” upon police arrival and was very upset. Additional TMZ photos show Jameson with a brace on her arm. She also said she plans to press charges against Ortiz, reports TMZ.
During a Monday evening press conference, Ortiz and his lawyer claimed that Ortiz did not physically assault Jameson. Rather, the incident stemmed from Ortiz’s confrontation of Jameson regarding her possible drug addiction.
While the couple is not married, they do have 13-month-old twin boys together.
