Missing woman last seen at Fresno mall
FRESNO – Sheriff’s officials are asking the public’s help in finding a Fresno woman who was last seen two weeks ago at the River Park Shopping Center.
Heather Ballinger, 22, was last seen by family earlier this month. According to a Facebook post by her mother Patricia Ballinger, Heather Ballinger went into a job interview with a tree trimming business after responding to a job ad through Craigslist. She was set to meet up for an interview outside of Jamba Juice back on June 1 at 6 p.m. According to Fresno County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Chris Curtice, Ballinger has been missing for two weeks.
“After the interview, she left and has not been heard from since,” Curtice said. “Family members reported her missing a short time later.”
The Facebook post from Ballinger’s mother also indicates that mall security did see Heather Ballinger being approached by two men and left the area after the interview. She has not been heard from since then.
Ballinger is described as a 5-foot-4, 170-pound woman with long black hair and brown eyes. The clothing she had on when she was last seen was a multi-colored shirt worn over a white shirt, blue jeans and white-colored sandals.
She has a piercing on her nose and right cheek. Ballinger is also said to have two tattoos, one that reads “Daddy’s girl” on her left shoulder and one that has an Indian design on one of her legs.
The vehicle she was driving was a white 1994 Jeep Cherokee, with a California license number that read: 93FKR292. The vehicle also has a large Oakland Raiders emblem on the rear door.
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Ballinger is being asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (559) 488-3111.
