Pismo Beach police arrested a 27-year-old man on Monday after he allegedly assaulted two female roommates at a Shell Beach home. According to police, the women accused David Galvan of assaulting them at their home.
Galvan, who is being held at County Jail, was also charged with domestic violence and was booked on four misdemeanor warrants.
According to Pismo Beach police Sgt. Steve Weir, one victim stated she had only moved in two days prior when Galvan confronted her in an “agitated, abusive way.” She told police that after an argument with Galvan he punched her in the face several times.
The second victim claims Galvan dragged her by her hair and kept her in the home against her will. The women claim Galvan prevented them from calling for help by breaking the phone.
