Vallejo police search for armed robbery attempt suspects
Vallejo Police are in search of two young men who tried to rob a convenience market at gunpoint Wednesday night.
The two were reported to have tried to rob the market located on the 50 block of Wilson Avenue at about 10 p.m., Vallejo Lt. Abel Tenorio said. One of the men was reported to have fired several rounds while inside the store.
According to Vallejo Times Herald, the two suspects are described as young black men who were wearing black hooded sweat shirts and masks.
According to the police report, both men ran from the store when the owner appeared from the back of the business. Though numerous rounds were fired, no one was hit or injured, Tenorio said. The two left the store without taking anything, Tenorio said.
