Purse snatching couple cuffed by police
San Luis Obispo (SLO) Sheriff’s deputies arrested a duo who snatched a purse from a cart at Ralphs Market in Los Osos.
Jeanna Marie Huss, 20 and Steven Levi Poole, 32, were booked at SLO County Jail for grand theft, narcotics and probation violation.

The original theft at Ralphs happened on Nov. 19, according to the sheriff’s department press release, in which deputies checked surveillance footage from the store and watched the theft take place. Deputies watched the video as the suspects entered a small pick-up truck, which was spotted by fellow deputies on Dec. 2.
A follow-up investigation performed by deputies led to the arrest of the couple and the recovery of the stolen purse.
Huss is being held on $50,000 bail while Poole remains in custody on $20,000 bail. The pair is scheduled for their next court appearance on Dec. 19.
