Arrest made in pizza delivery driver robbery spree
ANTIOCH – Two search warrants and an arrest were made in a series of armed robberies of pizza delivery drivers.
“The search warrants were conducted as a result of an investigation into a series of armed robberies of pizza delivery drivers that have been occurring over the last month in the neighborhood,” Sergeant Diane Aguinaga stated in a press release.
The suspects would rob pizza delivery drivers with a knife and demanded cash and personal items from the drivers. Search warrants were served to two local residences living in the 4300 block of Wallaby Ct.
A $250,000 warrant was obtained for Rashied Ali Hudson. According to police, Hudson was identified as one of the main suspects, arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.
“Hudson was identified as the main suspect who was armed with the knife during all of the robberies,” Aguinaga stated.
Several items were identified for evidence in the case, but investigators are still searching for the second suspect.
“Detectives have identified a person of interest and are working to collect further evidence against him,” Aguinaga stated in a press release.
