Suspect sought in stabbing
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect in an attempted homicide that occurred around 2:16 a.m. on Highway 101.
The victim is a 23-year-old Oceano man whose name was being withheld at time of press.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Department, the victim showed up at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital early Thursday morning where he was admitted with multiple stab wounds.
Sheriff’s detectives believe the man was stabbed inside a vehicle at an unknown location on Highway 101. It is also unknown how the victim arrived at the hospital or if there were any other victims.
The victim, according to the Sheriff’s department, has a no bail felony warrant for probation violation and is under observation by detectives after emergency surgery. At press time, the victim was listed in critical, but stable condition. No further information was currently available at time of press.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward immediately.
