Vallejo teen robbed and assaulted while riding bike
Police are searching for three suspects who assaulted and robbed a 16-year-old in Vallejo Sunday afternoon.
According to the Vallejo Time Herald, the teenager was riding his bicycle on Fairgrounds Drive and Whitney Avenue at around 4:20 p.m. when he was approached by three men. One of the suspects punched the victim’s face, resulting in the victim becoming unconscious and falling to the ground. The suspect that hit the punched teen is described as a black man in his 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and about 170 pounds.
Two of the three suspects were reported to have been wearing masks.
The victim was then kicked in the face as he was on the ground, according to the Vallejo Times Herald.
The suspects went through the victim’s pockets and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and other personal items. The suspects then fled away from the incident on foot.
The teenager reportedly sustained moderate injuries to the head and face, according to the Vallejo Times Herald.
