Traffic stop leads to three arrests, seizure of drugs and guns in Fairfield
Fairfield police arrested three men Monday evening after a traffic stop led officers to conduct a search where they found drugs and a firearm within the vehicle. The men, two of whom were from Fairfield, the other from Vallejo, were stopped at the corner of West Texas and First Street.
According to the Daily Republic, police stopped the three at 7:30 p.m. for a traffic violation who were, at the time, in a Chevy Tahoe. Police searched one of the passengers, finding a handgun and several “baggies” which had cocaine in them. Police then conducted a search of the vehicle and reported finding a stolen handgun, marijuana, and more cocaine.
Police arrested Samuel Guzman, 22, of Fairfield, Alejandro Jimenez, 18, of Vallejo, and Orlando Vidana, 23, of Fairfield for suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of loaded firearms with drugs and possession of a stolen firearm, according to the Daily Republic.
