Vallejo woman wakes up to burglar in her room
A Vallejo woman woke up early Sunday morning to find a burglar in her room at her home on the 400 block of Ohio Street.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, at about 5 a.m., a 66-year-old woman notified the police that she woke up because of a noise she heard in her room. The woman found a man standing in her room holding a flashlight in his hand. The woman reported that the man asked her for money, to which she responded she had none.
Police said the man then fled from the home. According to the Vallejo Times Herald, the suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, around 5 foot, 10 inches tall, and weighed around 150 pounds.
Police said the man entered the home through a window. The suspect was not reported to have been carrying a gun.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, the woman was not injured and there was nothing reported to have been taken from the home.
