Vallejo police arrest two men in same location
Vallejo police arrested two men within 24 hours of each other on Sunday and Saturday night.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested Daniel Powell, 28, on the 400 block of Tennessee Street after seeing 10 grams of marijuana in plain view within a car. Police said a 9 mm Glock handgun was also found in Powell’s waistband and a 30-round clip.
Powell was booked in Solano County jail.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, police patrolling the area saw a man loitering. Police approached the man, later identified as Jeremiah White, 21, of Oakland, who then allegedly ran from police into a motel in the area.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, from there the man jumped over fences and was hiding in someone’s backyard. Officers found White in the backyard and struggled with him before he was tased and taken into custody, police said.
