Man Allegedly Hammers Victim Over Money
SAN LUIS OBISPO – The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department arrested a man in the outskirts of Paso Robles after he allegedly bludgeoned a man with a hammer on Tuesday.
According to the sheriff’s department, deputies responded to a 911 call of a man being attacked. Deputies say when they arrived on the scene, they found the victim with major injuries.
According to the sheriff’s department, the suspect, Roger Glenn West, 38, had gotten into an argument with the victim over money. Deputies say the argument escalated and West allegedly hit the victim multiple times with a hammer. The victim was critically injured and was life-flighted to Twin Cities Community Hospital. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time along with the nature of the injuries.
West was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. The case is still under investigation.
