Suisun City man reports being abducted and robbed
A Suisun City man notified police that he was a victim of an armed robbery Tuesday morning on Marina Boulevard.
According to the Daily Republic, the man notified police that around 8:50 a.m. he was forced into a white van with a side sliding door. The man stated that inside the van were four masked men brandishing guns that held him for about five minutes. The man stated that he was robbed of his belongings, then released.
According to the Daily Republic, police gave a description of the van as a “large carpool-type.”
Police said they believe the man may have been targeted. Police, however, have declined to release details about the victim, what was taken from the man, or any details in regards to the investigation of the incident.
According to the Daily Republic, police said they did not locate any independent witness to abduction or robbery in an area just south of Highway 12 that typically draws a fair amount of traffic.
