Bandits Burglarize Elk Grove Stores
ELK GROVE – Early on the morning of August 24th Elk Grove police responded to an alarm call at the AT&T store at 9170 W. Stockton Boulevard. Upon arrival, they saw that the business had been burglarized. While there, they received yet another alarm call, this time from the T-Mobile store at 9308 Elk Grove Boulevard.
After discovering that the second store had also been burglarized, police later ascertained that $2,000 worth of headphones had been stolen from the AT&T store and 10 cell phones from the T-Mobile store.
Police were able to obtain surveillance photos of two suspects in the burglaries, both of whom were described as young African-American males, 6′ tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
The EGPD press release states – “Anyone with information regarding these crimes is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.”
