Trio of women arrested in Dollar Tree Holdup
Rocklin Police have arrested three women in the Rocklin Dollar Tree armed robbery last week.
As reported here, on August 27th, three women had entered the Dollar Tree store near closing time, assaulting one employee, and threatening all with a handgun. After retrieving money from both the cash registers and the back office, the three fled the store.
According to a press release, Rocklin Police used anonymous tips, cell phone records, and parking lot surveillance video in their investigation of the crime, which led them to arrest Loriann Prout, 27-years-old from Roseville, Victoria Micheels, 32-years-old from Roseville, and Enery Toro, 22-years-old from Rocklin. Two other suspects are also wanted but have not been placed in custody at this time.
“This investigation is a great example of citizens and police working together to keep Rocklin safe. Our detectives did an outstanding job, and we were fortunate to have several anonymous tips submitted from members of the public providing valuable information.” said Rocklin Chief of Police, Ron Lawrence.
All three suspects were booked into the Placer County Jail facing charges of robbery, false imprisonment, assault, and conspiracy, each on $200,000 bail.
