Vacaville police arrest three for suspect home burglary
A man, a woman and a 16-year-old were arrested by Vacaville police after a neighbor called police to report a possible burglary early Wednesday morning.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, a local resident called police shortly after midnight after witnessing suspicious activity at the 300 block of Chelan Drive. The caller reported seeing two men enter a garage through the side yard of a neighboring home and exit it with items that they then put into a waiting van parked in the front of the home, police said.
The van was gone before police arrived, but officers stopped a van matching its description soon afterwards on Shasta Drive. The officer found three people inside, as well as suspected stolen property.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, the homeowner was not at home at the time, but the neighbor positively identified the van, and its occupants, as being involved in the earlier burglary.
Police arrested suspects Anthony Aispuro, 26, of Vacaville, and Christina Buckshot, 40, of Vacaville, along with one minor. Aispuro was charged with suspicion of residential burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft. Buckshot was charged with the same offences, as well as suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Both Aispuro and Buckshot were booked into jail, whereas the minor suspect, who was charged with suspicion of residential burglary and possession of stolen property, was booked into a juvenile facility.
