Shooting at Milpitas 7-Eleven leaves clerk dead
Milpitas police have released photos of three suspects who shot and killed a clerk while committing an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store on North Milpitas Boulevard over the weekend.
Officers responded to the 7-Eleven on September 8 at about 2:15 a.m. on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, they located Mohammad Reza Sadeghzadeh, 67, lying dead in the convenience store from an apparent gunshot wound. Police say video surveillance from the store showed that three men armed with handguns entered the store wearing hooded sweatshirts. The suspects confronted the victim and shot him.
Milpitas police continue to actively investigate the shooting and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects in the surveillance images. 7-Eleven has offered a $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the three suspects.
