Two Suspects Arrested for Gas Station Robbery
San Luis Obispo Police officers arrested two suspects for allegedly robbing the Shell Gas Station located at 296 Santa Rosa Avenue on Sunday around 11:25 p.m.
According to SLOPD, they received a 911 call regarding a robbery that occurred at the gas station. Police say the reporting party said a male subject entered the location, motioned like he had a weapon in his jacket pocket and demanded the money from the register.
After removing the money from the register, the suspect was seen running from the area with a female who was waiting outside as a possible lookout.
Police say upon arrival officers were provided additional information regarding the two suspects.
Police then say while checking the area a female matching the description was located in the Jack in the Box parking lot located on Santa Rosa.
The female suspect was identified Miranda Bjerre, 20, of San Luis Obispo.
Bjerre, according to police, was positively identified as the female who acted as the lookout during the robbery.
According to SLOPD, officers were able to identify the male suspect as Tyler Lowman, 31, also of San Luis Obispo.
Police say Lowman was located in a nearby trailer and taken into custody without further incident.
Lowman was booked into county jail on charges of robbery and providing false identity to a police officer.
Bjerre was booked into county jail on charges of robbery. Bail was set at $30,000.
