Two Children Placed in Protective Custody After Cocaine Bust
Members of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force arrested one man after he was found with about $7,000 worth of cocaine at his residence.
According to the SLO sheriff’s office, Narcotics Task Force members served a search warrant at a home on Atlantic City Avenue in Grover Beach on Thursday evening.
Investigators say they discovered 200 grams of cocaine inside the home worth approximately $7,000.
Detectives say they also found materials commonly associated with the sale of cocaine, as well as two handguns.
Detectives arrested 30-year-old Abel Olivo of Grover Beach on charges of possession of narcotics for sale and a felon in possession of a handgun.
According to the SLO sheriff’s office, two children in the residence, a one-year old and a three-year-old, were taken into protective custody.
Olivo is currently booked into County Jail on $150,000 bail.
