Santa Maria police are continuing to search for a suspect who allegedly robbed the Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream shop at 403 North Broadway on Thursday, Nov. 8.
Officers were called to the shop at 6:25 p.m. following a report that a man wearing a Halloween mask that covered his entire face entered the store, brandished a gun and demanded money, according to police.

The suspect is described as possibly being a Hispanic male. He was wearing a dark-colored beanie, Halloween-type mask, blue pants and white shoes. No other details about the suspect’s appearance were available from police.
To date, no arrests have been made in the case, and Santa Maria police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the department at (805) 928-3781. Anonymous tips can also be made by calling Crimestoppers at 1-877-800-9100.
