Chula Vista Teacher Arrested for Child Molestation
San Diego- San Diego Internet Crimes against Children Task Force (SDICAC) investigators arrested John Kinloch, 41, on December 6th after receiving information that he had molested a minor. Previous to this arrest, Kinloch had posted bail after his arrest on Friday, November 30th, 2012, for various charges related to child pornography.
On Wednesday, December 5th, a minor came forward and reported to ICAC investigators that he had been molested by Kinloch. The incidents occurred several years ago while the minor was a student of Kinloch’s at the Feaster Charter School in Chula Vista, California.
Based on their investigation, the ICAC was able to arrest Kinloch at approximately 9:00 p.m. December 6th while Kinloch was leaving his South Bay Area home.
Kinloch was later booked in the County Jail System on numerous charges of sexual molestation of a minor. His bail was set at $1.15 million.
Kinloch is a 1st grade teacher at Wolf Canyon Elementary School in Chula Vista. After his arrest, Kinloch was placed on administrative leave by school officials.
