Six Burglary Suspects Arrested, Property and Drugs Seized

The San Luis Obispo Police Department has arrested six suspects in connection with a burglary ring.

According to SLOPD, after an extensive investigation into a number of residential burglaries, detectives served search warrants in the early morning hours on Tuesday at two locations.

Investigators say six individuals were arrested and stolen property including a handgun and jewelry were recovered.  The six SLO residents arrested were identified as Sean Cullen, 32, Angel Medina, 22, Emily Tobin, 19, Krista Owen, 25, Justin Foster, 21, and Nicholas Ruiz, 26,

According to SLOPD, also located during the investigation was methamphetamine, heroin and drug paraphernalia.

CHP Auto Theft Task Force investigators were then called in to assist in investigating what appears to be a motorcycle “chop shop” operation at the residence in the 1600 block of Lima Drive.

Police say several motorcycles were located in various stages of disassembly with the vehicle identification numbers removed and are likely stolen.
