San Jose police investigating 2nd homicide of 2013
A 43-year-old woman was shot to death Wednesday and San Jose police are investigating the case as a homicide.
Officers responded to the 2600 block of Ponselle Court on a report of a person shot at about 1:30 p.m. yesterday. Upon arrival, they located the victim inside a residence. She had been shot at least once and was transported to Regional Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.

She was the mother of a 12-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl, who are now being cared for by family members.
