Triple Murder Suspect Fails to Report to Police Department
MODESTO – One of the suspects wanted in connection to three murders in Modesto promised to turn himself in to police Wednesday night, but failed to appear.
A no-bail warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Ricky Javier Madrigal for three counts of murder for the shooting deaths of David Siebels, 16, Alyxandria Tellez, 19, and Edward Joseph Reinig, 31, last March.
The other suspects in the case were arrested on Tuesday. They are Robert Palomino, 43, Juan Jose Nila, 27, Armando Osegueda, 31, Jose Osegueda Jr., 36, Richard Tyrone Garcia, 31, and Joseph Luis Jauriqui, 23.
The homicides happened on March 3, 2012. Police received a 911 call from a home in the 700 block of North McClure Road around 3:40 a.m. in Modesto. The home is across the street from the east end of Creekside Golf Course.
Officers found the three victims inside, each dead from gunshot wounds. Police have yet to release a motive for the shooting.
Madrigal is a documented Norteño gang member and is considered armed and dangerous, police said. He is known to hang out in the airport neighborhood and northeast Modesto, police said.
In addition to being a suspect in the trip murder, Madrigal is also a person of interest in the 2011 murder of a 30-year-old man in east Modesto, according to authorities.
