Dental Hygienist arrested for molestation of patient
A Lincoln Heights dental assistant was charged March 7th for sexually molesting a 15-year-old girl over the course of six months. Thirty six year old Saul Robles was arrested at a Smile Care Dental office in Rosemead, one of two Los Angeles area dental offices he worked at.

According to a LASD press release, Robles had continually molested the victim during her dental visits until she revealed the incidents to her parents, who notified authorities. Robles was employed as a dental hygienist in the Los Angeles area for six years, and had been working at Smile Care Dental offices in Rosemead and Bellflower for the past four.
In an interview with the Long Beach Press-Telegram, Sgt. Al Fraijo of the LASD’s Special Victims Bureau detailed Robles’ method of assaulting the victim.
“He would take her to another room to show her how to floss. [There would be] inappropriate touching of her body parts,” Fraijo said.
Robles pleaded not guilty at his March 7th arraignment where he was charged with three felony counts of lewd acts and a misdemeanor count of child molesting. He is currently being held at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles where his bail is set at $320,000.
Robles was arrested at the Smile Care office in Rosemead. No other staff members were implicated in the case.
