Chico Police Make Arrest in Home Invasion Case
Two men have been arrested for their involvement in a Chico home invasion that occurred earlier this month. The suspects, 19 year-old Vincent Adonis Allen Jr. of Chico, and 18 year-old Justin O’Neal Randall of Oroville, were arrested and charged with first degree robbery.
The robbery occurred on March 5th when a Chico resident called 911 reporting a home invasion. When officers arrived at the scene, the victim described the scenario. Three suspects confronted the victim in a back bedroom while one suspect held the victim at gunpoint. The suspects ransacked the victim’s home, and later fled by foot with an undisclosed amount of property. The victim described the suspects as three black males, each ranging in height and weight. Officers discovered that the suspects broke into the home by forcing open a side door.
During the investigation, information collected by Crime Scene Investigator Omar Pena helped identify Allen as one of the suspects.
At approximately 7 a.m. on March 20th, Chico Police Officers executed a search warrant at 1133 W. Sacramento Avenue #5. Officers located and arrested Allen. At 1 p.m. of the same day, Randall was located at W. 6th Avenue #5 where he was also arrested. Both Allen and Randall were transferred to the Butte County Jail.
The third suspect is 19 year-old Kendall Jordan Thomas of Oroville. His current whereabouts are unknown and he is considered to be armed and dangerous, even though the handgun used in the home invasion has been collected. If you have any information regarding Kendall Thomas and his whereabouts, contact the Chico Police Department at (530) 897-4900.
