Six Arrested in Marijuana Sales Investigation
Detectives from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office arrested six individuals this past Thursday following a three month investigation centered around the sale of marijuana through two businesses, according to an official press release.
The two businesses — River City Wellness (aka Right Choice Wellness) in Cameron Park and C4C in Shingle Springs — were reportedly operated by David Sisson, 45, of El Dorado; his wife, Stacy Sisson, 44, of El Dorado; and David’s brother Robert Sisson, 34, of Shingle Springs.
According to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, David was booked into the county jail for conspiracy to sell marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Robert was booked for conspiracy to sell marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. Stacy was booked for conspiracy to possess marijuana for sale.
In addition, store employee Mathew Wollman, 29, of Sacramento was arrested and booked for being in possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, and another employee, Austin Lange, 26, of Cameron Park, was arrested for conspiracy to sell marijuana.
And while detectives were searching a search warrant at one of the businesses, they reportedly arrested James Dungan, 50, of Santa Cruz, who had arrived at the business with the intention of selling processed marijuana to the business. Dungan was reportedly arrested for possession of marijuana for sale.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, approximately 60 pounds of processed marijuana was seized at the businesses during the service of the search warrants.
