Woman Accused of 36-Count Felony Complaints for $100,000 Fraud and Grand Theft
Cerritos- Anna Moskovyan, 30 of Van Nuys, was arrested concerning a 36 count felony complaint that was filed against her. She was at the Glendale courthouse appearing for an unrelated matter when she was arrested.
“The complaint alleges multiple counts of grand theft, and the recording of false and fraudulent documents related to over 100 properties in Los Angeles County and beyond,” Sheriff’s Detective Ron Sabatine explained in an April 8th statement, adding that Moskovyan allegedly “committed numerous sophisticated fraudulent acts of various types throughout Los Angeles County.”
Sabatine also said, “The investigation was conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Real Estate Fraud Team, the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs, and the Los Angeles Police Department,” as the county discovered her double dealings from the Department of Consumer Affairs complaints filed against her from various property owners and families.
Moskovyan’s activities allegedly accumulated to earning her around $100,000. Investigators serving search warrants of her North Hollywood residence and office in Glendale procured alleged certified copies of forged grant deeds and mechanic liens.
Moskovyan’s bail is currently set at $1,24o,ooo. Her next court date is set for April 16th in Los Angeles Superior Court.
