Three Men Arrested in Connection with $22,000 in Stolen Gift Cards, Auto Burglary

Three Petaluma men were arrested Friday after they were linked to stealing $22,000 in gift cards out of a vehicle.

A Meadow School parent had just loaded the cards, which were being sold to support the school, into her vehicle early on April 4 before they were stolen, according to the Press Democrat.

An officer contacted one of the three suspects, 20-year-old Robert Reid, during an unrelated petty theft call yesterday at Kohl’s in Petaluma. The officer found the gift cards in Reid’s possession and also contacted the 22-year-old Andre Rojas, who was in possession of other stolen gift cards. They were both arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property.

Officers later served a search warrant in the 200 block of Hill Blvd, where they found more stolen cards and prescription medications. Zack Fortune, 18, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of the medications.
