Third Robbery Suspect Arrested in Santa Monica
The final of three suspects was taken into custody Monday following an hours-long man hunt stemming from an armed robbery in Santa Monica.
Donya Shannon Conner was taken into custody about 7 a.m. Monday after a Santa Monica resident reported that a man had just stolen his bicycle from his backyard and was fleeing westbound on Warwick, Santa Monica Police Sgt. Richard Lewis said.
Officers found the stolen bicycle in the parking lot of McDonalds located at 2902 Pico Boulevard, and found Conner in the men’s restroom, Lewis said.
Investigators believed Conner was involved the robbery, but he initially denied it, according to Lewis.
Terrell Darveyon Davis, 24, and Delina Frank Banks, 24, both of Reno, Nevada, were arrested Sunday night on suspicion of the robbery. They were being held in lieu of $1 million bail on robbery, kidnapping and conspiracy charges, according to jail records and police.
