Woman arrested second time in two weeks on charges of meth
CRESCENT CITY- Approximately two weeks ago, a woman was arrested on methamphetamine-related charges. She was arrested again on Thursday on suspicion of possessing the same drug.
With search warrant in hand, authorities entered her residence at 110 Salmon Blvd in Klamath, according to sheriff’s Deputy Richard Griffin. Maja R. Nicol, 67, was exiting the bathroom after probably flushing the meth down the toilet.
One bag of meth was sequestered, as were two digital scales, two boxes of unused packing bags, $2000 in cash tucked in an envelope, and other bags with limited amounts of the drug. Needless to say, Nicol was arrested.
She had been previously arrested for possession of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale on March 27 during a traffic stop of her car. Authorities said they found 4 ounces of meth during the stop.
