Arrest of suspect leads to second arrest of juvenile
SANTA CLARA – On April 22, 2013 a residential burglary was reported to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office . As deputies arrived at the scene near the 18000 Block of Westview Drive in the City of Saratoga, a person near the area flagged down deputies in order to alert them about several male subjects who were trying to break into a nearby home.
According to a press release by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, “the subjects fled when deputies tried to detain them.” A resident who was in the neighboring area saw the deputies and again reported that their residence near the 18000 Block of Kosich Drive was also just burglarized.
Responding deputies collected evidence from the scene in order to quickly identify the suspects. During the chase of the possible suspects, 24-year-old Quang Ho from San Jose was taken into custody for multiple charges including burglary, attempted burglary, possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy.

The City of Saratoga houses some 30,000 residence. “The Sheriff’s Office is contracted to provide law enforcement services for the City of Saratoga,” Stenderup said. “We are still following up on information regarding possible other victims.”
During the arrest of Ho, a second suspect was also located. The second suspect was a 17-year-old juvenile who was also from San Jose. According to the report, “Deputies established a perimeter and ultimately took him into custody after an extensive yard to yard search.”
