San Clemente Man Arrested After Carlsbad Pursuit

A 21-year-old San Clemente man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence and intentionally crashing into two police vehicles during a pursuit in Carlsbad.

Dylan Jesse Brown was driving recklessly in the area of Canon Road and Avenida Encinas around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, according to Carlsbad police. Officers caught up to Brown and attempted to pull him over on the south 5 Freeway but he ignored them, and a pursuit ensued, police said in a statement.
