Police Searching for Man who Kissed Woman in Parking Lot
BAKERSFIELD – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for sexual battery after releasing images of the suspect on Thursday night.
The suspect, described as a black male in his early 40s, 5 feet tall and 180 pounds with black medium length hair and brown eyes allegedly made inappropriate comments towards a female victim before he grabbed and kissed her in the parking lot of Food Maxx grocery store located at 4128 Chester Ave.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3 p.m. on May 17, 2013.
After kissing the victim, authorities said the suspect fled when the victim tried to enter the store, but not before being caught on video surveillance.
The victim suffered no injures as a result of the alleged attack.
