Los Osos Church Vandalized
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Los Osos was vandalized early Sunday morning.
According to a press release from the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office, they received a report of vandalism at the church on Sunday morning.
Investigators say seven stained-glass windows and three other windows were broken at the church. Damage is estimated at approximately $40,000.
A witness reported seeing two young men in the area right after the incident.
The first suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, about six-feet tall with a thin build and long, straight hair.
The second suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, about five-feet, 10-inches tall with a thin build.
The SLO Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing several leads in this case and, as a result of this incident, the sheriff’s office has increased its patrols in the area.
