Antioch Stabbing ends in Arrest
ANTIOCH – On Saturday, June 15th, Antioch officers received reports of a fight, then a stabbing happening on the 1600 block of Cavallo Rd. The victim has been identified as a 43-year-old Antioch resident who was at the residence of Donald Fosselman. No reasons have been established as to why he was there. Upon arrival, multiple people gave police differing accounts of what had happened, however, Fosselman was positively identified as the assailant who stabbed another male subject with a knife.
Moments later, a local hospital called to give word that a stabbing victim had arrived for treatment. Police spoke with the somewhat responsive victim and concluded he was the victim of this particular stabbing. The victim faced severe wounds, but is expected to fully recover. Fosselman was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for assault. According to an official press release, the assailant has a long criminal history to include terrorist threats, robbery convictions, burglary and theft.
