Trio Arrested After Broken Pots Fall From Their Truck Along Highway 101
A Rohnert Park man was among a trio of men arrested Saturday night during a traffic stop.
The men were driving a Toyota truck along Highway 101 at 7:50 p.m., when landscaping pots began falling from the vehicle, according to a California Highway Patrol press release.
Agents from the department of Alcoholic Beverage Control watched as the pots, described as an unsafe load that was strapped to the roof of the truck, fell onto the highway. The agents made traffic stop and called the CHP for help.
Police say that Frank Batcher, 54, of Guerneville, was laying in the bed of the truck, unrestrained. An officer discovered that Batcher was wanted for a felony, no bail warrant for violation of his Post Release Community Supervision and took him into custody.
