Officers have made an arrest regarding the alleged rape case of a woman this last week in National City.
The incident occurred when the suspect, 24 year-old Damone Carter, invited a woman he met on the online dating site Plenty of Fish to his apartment in the 2400 block of East 8th Street.
The two had been communicating with one another for a week before they decided to meet each other in person on Friday the 21st at Carter’s apartment.
