Modesto Roomies Arrested for Murder

MODESTO — This past Wednesday at approximately 2:00 pm, an anonymous call drew Stanislaus Sheriff’s Department deputies to a residence in the 2300 block of Ridge Rd — where a dead body had allegedly been hidden.

Cory Cline

Upon their arrival, deputies immediately noticed suspicious behavior on the part of Cory Cline (45), a resident of the block. Further inquiry revealed that Cline lived at the very residence in question, along with 45-year-old Quinton Lambert.

A search of the residence shortly thereafter turned up the body of 30-year-old local Mario Allen Albo Jr.,  who’d sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Sheriff’s Department detectives were then called to the scene and promptly took over the investigation.

Quinton Lambert

Cline and Lambert were questioned and soon arrested for murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

No further information is available at this time as the investigation is ongoing, however anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Detective Cory Brown at (209) 567-4485.

Anonymous tips may also be left with Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636, e-mailed via http://www.modestopolice.com/CrimeStoppers, or through text message to CRIMES (274637) — simply type “Tip704” along with a short message — and may be eligible for a cash reward.
