The Sacramento Police Department (SPD) has made an arrest in a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Arden Fair Mall in July, according to an official press release.
23 year-old John Montanez was arrested on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, for attempted homicide.
According to the SPD, on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 3:21pm, officers responded to reports of shots fired at Arden Fair Mall. Officers initially discovered that a male subject, armed with a handgun and in the company of a second suspect, began firing at two other male subjects. It was later discovered that there were actually three victims among the group fired upon.
