Four Arrested after Robbing Pedestrian
Four men suspected of attempting to rob a pedestrian and robbing another at gunpoint have been arrested by San Diego Police.
The first robbery occurred just before 10:30 p.m. Monday night on Howard Avenue in University Heights.
The victim, a man in his 30s, informed police that he was approached by four men dressed in dark, hooded sweatshirts and they tried to rob him. The victim added that one of the men acted as if he had a gun in his pocket. The suspects ran away without taking any of the victim’s belongings.
About an hour later, a woman in her 20’s walking in the 5600 block of Dorothy Way was robbed around 11:45 p.m. by four men who matched the description of the suspects from the previous robbery.
The four men were arrested a few blocks away after the robbery.
