Elderly Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Hit-and-Run
An elderly pedestrian is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run Friday morning, police said.
According to Cmdr. Ben Horner, officers responded to a report of a possible hit-and-run at about 10:11 a.m. at the intersection of Alvarado-Niles Road and Central Avenue.
The victim, identified as 74-year-old Rogelio Razon of Union City, was transported to a local trauma center. He was clinging to his life Friday afternoon, Horner said.
